About Us
Langley Pre-school was established over 40 years ago and is one of the most popular settings in Beckenham. Our premises consist of two halls, a kitchen and a secure garden with lawn and paved area. The group is a member of the Early Years Alliance who represent and support pre-schools and is also registered with the local Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership in Bromley.
We are proud to announce we have completed the Early Years Alliance’s quality assurance scheme ‘Aiming for Quality’ which includes an ‘Investors in Childcare’ award. The process involves looking at and evaluating our pre-school in great depth and on completion recognises the high standard of care and education we provide.
We are currently undertaking Healthy Early Years London (HEYL). This is an awards scheme funded by the Mayor of London supporting and recognising achievements in child health, wellbeing and development in early years settings. HEYL complements and enhances the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage framework, adding to the focus on children, families and staff health and wellbeing.
We have been inspected by the local enviromental health officer and received the highest score - Food Hygiene Rating 5.
Our pre-school is open Tuesdays - Friday between 9:00 and 3.30. We offer education and care for children from two to school age. We are open for 38 weeks a year.
